Affirmations
Affirmations are short positive statements that help us build our confidence, self-esteem and resilience. You can use this tool to write positive messages and statements that can help you maintain a positive mindset.

We all have an inner voice that sometimes makes us question things about ourselves, like our abilities, our looks or our qualities.
Safe Plan
A safe plan is a document that contains information about how to help you stay safe when you are distressed. This plan is about you. It contains information about what you need and how you would like to get support from other people.

Traffic light tool
You can use this tool as a reminder to notice when you are feeling triggered or to notice what you are doing or feeling when you are thinking about self-harm.
Self-harm Diary
Self-harm is a way of coping with distressing or overwhelming emotions. We are all individuals and this means that different experiences affect people differently. There are lots of factors that can change how we are affected by an experience. The same experience might affect us one way today and affect us differently tomorrow.
