Affirmations are short, positive statements that help us build our confidence, self-esteem and resilience. When we are not feeling positive about ourselves, we can use affirmations to remind us of our positive skills and qualities.
This tool gives you examples of affirmations that you could use. You can also come up with your own affirmations.
Some people find it helpful to repeat these affirmations throughout the day. If this is something you think might help you, you could repeat the affirmation in your head when you need a reminder. You could also write your affirmation down somewhere, or keep a note of it on your phone.
